Cheese Fondue

Finally got the time to meet up with Alvin for a short date on Deepavali. Been so busy this few weeks with helping out for the new project. :( Almost everyday of OT.

Anyway, Alvin wanted to try Cheese Fondue. Search on the net shows that Swiss Culture in Suntec had some good raves. So here we go..

The restaurant is located on the same row as Kushin-bo on level 3. Its quite small, their seatings are all "alfresco".

My orange juice

The cheese fondue.

The bread for dipping

Additional side orders of their must try sausage

Mmmm!

Its our first time at cheese fondue. I must say that it wasn't what I have imagined. I thought it would be a overpowering smell of cheese & extremely cheesy. But to my surprise, it turns out quite ok and mild, no cheesy smell. However, it got a bit "gelat" at the end of the session. One thing learnt, is that when we dip the bread/sausage in, we must do it in a stirring motion as the oil of the cheese will float on top as the cheese bubbled.

Quite a lot of people ordered their cheese fondue. Anyway, if you are not feeling "gelat" at the end, you could try their chocolate fondue which the staff recommended.
